Opening of the exhibition „Weaving“ (EN)

The Weaving project was launched by "127 garage" art initiative (from Kharkiv, Ukraine, currently based in Graz) in 2022 after the beginning of the Russian invasion. The project unites representatives of self-organized and independent spaces engaged in contemporary art across Ukraine, and the initiatives led by Ukrainians abroad. By sharing resources and encouraging collaboration, Weaving aims to weave a tapestry of artistic resilience and creativity that will last for years to come. In the exhibition, "127 garage" will present a selection of self-organized art spaces from Ukraine and their art communities who are part of the Weaving project. The event will be held in English. part of FREIRAUMFEST 2024
