Fleet of Ylem, is an improvisational ensemble featuring sheng player Li-chin Li from Taiwan, violinist, vocalist, and percussionist Ana Kravanja from Slovenia, and percussionist and vocalist Yann Hunziker from Switzerland. Formed in the fall of 2024 during the Symphonie de Ségriès music residency in southern France, the ensemble connected instantly, finding resonance and mutual response in each other’s music. Drawing on robust performance techniques, Fleet of Ylem delivers an agile, dynamic, and unpredictable style, embarking on a shared journey to explore sound and art.
